Description
Two months before the end of the Spanish Civil War, a group of fascist prisoners is shot by Republican soldiers. Rafael Sánchez Mozas manages to escape into the forest. One of his pursuers finds him and, for some reason, lets him go. This novel looks at the life of both Sánchez Mozas and the soldier who did not capture or kill him.
