Description
In the 1920s, Anita trains for a job in order to have financial freedom. Twenty years later, her daughter Ana Maria fights for the right to attend college. In the 1990s, Ana Maria's daughter Ana overcomes a sexual assault by writing and publishing her first book of poems. Present day, Celia, a fan of Ana's work, confronts cyberbullying because she does not conform to societys norms. This novel is based on the author's family as well as her own life. A section on how to write biographical fiction is included.
