Description
Ana Rosa lives with her family in a poor coastal community in the Dominican Republic, where paper is a luxury and she alone understands her need to write down her thoughts and feelings. As developers plan to raze the neighborhood and construct a resort, the family opposes the hostile takeover and pays a very dear price. In this coming-of-age tale, Ana Rosa experiences her first crush, her first success, and her first major loss.
