Description
London, 1930, Maisie Dobbs has a lot of clients. Scotland Yard asks her for help with a murder case involving a young woman accused of the crime. Cecil Lawson, a newly widowed lawyer, hires Maisie to confirm if his son Ralph, who disappeared during the war, is dead. Determined to find out whether Ralph is dead or alive, Maisie travels to France to see her old friend Priscilla Evernden, whose brother has an intriguing connection to the case.
