Description
For Arturo, the summer in Miami means playing basketball until nightfall, drinking mango shakes, keeping cool in the shade, and, maybe, just maybe, working a shift as a dishwasher in his grandmother's restaurant. This summer also includes, Carmen, the poetry-loving girl who just moved into the apartment complex where Arturo lives. When a real estate developer arrives and threatens to change it, Arturo and Carmen draw up a plan of action and discover the power of protest and poetry.
