Apachurrada / Squished

Eleven-year-old Avery Lee loves living in Hickory Valley, Maryland, but things at home are somewhat complicated. She's tired of feeling squished by her six siblings. All she wants is a space to paint. When her parents give her older brother a room of his own, she comes up with a plan to get her own room. Little does she know that her parents will soon give her some life-changing news.
